Dr. Swayam Prakash is a distinguished Senior Consultant and Head of the Department of Neurology at the KINS Institute of Neurosciences, Siliguri. He holds prestigious qualifications including MD, DM (Neurology), SCE-Neurology (RCP-UK), Fellow of the European Board of Neurology, FRCP (Glasgow and London), and FICP. With vast expertise in managing complex neurological disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, stroke, neuropathies, motor neuron diseases, and autoimmune encephalitis, he is widely recognized for his patient-centered approach and clinical excellence. His special interests lie in cognitive neurology, neuroimmunology, neuro-electrophysiology, and minimally invasive therapeutic techniques. Dr. Prakash has authored numerous national and international publications, contributed significantly to neurological research, and has been honored with multiple fellowships and awards, including recognitions from the Royal College of Physicians and the Indian College of Physicians.
